We will do the same thing to you when we regain power – Abanga Fuseini tells NDC

Abanga Fuseini, National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) should be ready to face similar treatment if the NPP returns to power.

Fusani made the comments in an interview on Joy News monitored by MyRoyalFM.com.

Speaking about what he described as intimidation against the NPP, he said he does not believe in retaliation. However, he said the actions being taken against the NPP could set a situation that the NDC may have to face in the future.

“You see their intimidation it’s something that I mean I don’t believe in retaliation but it’s something that the precedents they setting if they if they believe and to me I personally believe that whatever they do to us they should be able to endure it if we come to power we are going to do that we’re going to do the same thing ”

Abanga Fuseini also said the NDC remains a strong political force, but he believes the NPP can return to power because the party has done so before.

“They are formidable. We can’t take them on but we’ve also come to power before and we can do it again.”

Touching on claims about vote buying, Fusani denied paying money to voters during any of his previous contests.

He said his approach is to travel to constituencies, meet voters, and explain his message and policies to them.

“No, no, no, no mean I’ve never paid money in all my line of contest that I’ve gone through I don’t pay money to voters to vote for me no I don’t do that I don’t do that. The only thing is just to get my full drive to their constituencies, share with them my messages, my policies and that’s all.”

“NPP do not believe in vote buying and I’m happy one of the I think somebody even posted somewhere that the good thing is that he didn’t. Hear anything vote buying and just ended Congress in Kumasi and I can I can assure you nobody paid money to be elected. I didn’t pay you I didn’t pay a dime.”
