I don’t let the hype and the stardom get into my head too much – Kweku Smoke
Ghanaian musician Kweku Smoke has spoken about his music career, his song ‘No Days Off’, and how he deals with fame and the support he receives from his fans.
Kweku Smoke made the comments during an interview on KSS with Kwadwo Shelson, monitored by MyRoyalFM.com.
During the interview, the musician explained that he does not allow the hype around his music and his growing fame to affect him.
He said he continues to listen to advice and does not see his progress as the end of his journey.
“I don’t let the hype and the stardom get into my head too much, I still listen to advice, people see me as someone how has gone a long way but I see it as steping stone”
Kweku Smoke Appreciates His Fans
Kweku Smoke also expressed his appreciation to everyone who continues to support his music and career.
He thanked his fans and asked them to continue supporting his work.
“I am gratefull to everyone supporting my music and the carrer, keep on the support I appriciate”
Kweku Smoke on Being Careful With Words
The musician also spoke about the importance of being careful about what people say.
He explained that words can have an effect on people later, adding that the Bible also gives advice about being careful with what one says.
“I’m always careful on what I say, even the bible gives advice on being careful of what we say and how it will affect us someday”
Kweku Smoke further advised people to be careful when sharing information about themselves, even when someone asks about what they do or how they do it.
He said some people may use such information against them, and stressed the need to protect oneself.
“Even if someone ask you about what you do or how you do it, becareful what you say, they might use that to bring you down, you can lie to them to protect yoursel”
